Caged

Looking through the window of the hospital she was admitted in at Texas, she could not recall anything. She felt like a new born baby. She kept saying to herself, “she wants to go outside and be free like the others she sees walking pass the window”. She went back to lie in her bed and she saw a doctor approaching, she kept staring at the doctor. She was a female doctor who had been attending to her. She asked the patient how she was and she responded nodding her head. The doctor could notice something was wrong. She decided to speak with Riley’s relatives, she couldn’t even tell her name. The doctor spoke to Riley’s dad whom she thought could be trusted. She spoke about her condition to him. Due to Riley’s severe illness she suffered she isn’t able to remember anything. The man Riley thought was her dad wasn’t her real father, she was adopted by the man and his wife, Mr and Mrs Smith. They never loved her but they only wanted to take advantage of her condition to ruin her. They planned to sell her to an old man called Mr Manu as her husband where she would be treated as a slave. She was discharged after the doctors have observed him and realised she can go home. Mrs Smith came to the hospital to take home, a small town in Texas where they lived. On their way home from the hospital, Mrs Smith was called by one of the staffs and she asked Riley to wait for her outside. Whiles she was waiting outside, an old friend bumped into her. She couldn’t recognise him but he did, he tried to speak with her reminding her he was Justin her childhood friend but she kept staring at him. He realised there was something wrong with her so he wanted to find out. He was a doctor in the same hospital and well known for his competence. He tried to speak with her like they were just meeting each other just to make her know him again. Suddenly Mrs Smith came out and he greeted her and left. He quickly rushed to the hospital to make enquiries about Riley and found out her condition. He made it a point to visit her regularly at their house just to know she is fine. One day, Justin visited Riley and she told him, her parents wants her to go and stay with her grandfather in Ohio so he won’t be seeing her around. He promised to come and see her often just as he does there. He knew the people she was staying with were not her real family but they have not told her and they were telling her lies about herself. When she left , Justin quit his job in Texas to protect his best friend. He was not only a doctor but a Software engineer so he survive without his job as a doctor. He was very wealthy and from a royal home. He disguised himself to find true love as a child because he didn’t want his family to impose a girl on him. In his search he found Riley so they got engaged at an early age without telling Mr and Mrs Smith because she didn’t trust them. So they were more than just friends. So Riley was taken to Mr Manu who was supposed to be his grandfather so when he got there and settled the man tries to take advantage of her telling her she is now his wife. She didn’t like the idea and she runs away to her friend. Justin helps her and they led to arrest of Mr , Mrs Smith and Mr Manu. He helps her to regain her memory and they later got married and ruled Justin Kingdom together. Riley was finally free and happy.
