Emily a young girl from South Carolina had been through a lot of pressures of life due to the family she comes from. She was from a poor background and very beautiful. Growing up her parents would do anything to cater for her needs despite being poor, so she would lack nothing and focus on her studies. When Emily got to high school, life became really tough for her family so eventhough they were providing her needs, she couldn’t meet the standard of her peers. So the stigma started, she didn’t want to sleep with men for money even in her situation, she stayed focus on her studies and God. This made her peers envy her because she didn’t want to join in their bad behaviours. Some group of girls who were known for immorality on campus spotted her and planned to influence her to join them. They enticed her with expensive gifts from men and she joined them. She still took her studies seriously but her morality declined. She started sleeping around with men for money. This continued till she finished high school and left to college. After college she completed with distinction in her field and she ventured into business. She became a renowned business woman and then met a man called Matthew, she wanted to get married to. She became a better person after she had met him. The man introduced her to her family, and he realised Emily has been involved with his elder brother back in her school days. Matthew’s elder brother told him about Emily’s past so he began contemplating whether he wants to go ahead with the marriage. He confronted her and she confessed everything and she told him, she is a changed person now. Matthew somehow wanted to forgive her so they went to the hospital to have some tests done. They he discovered Emily has HIV. Matthew couldn’t take it anymore and had to end everything. Emily was haunted by her past.
